Easter carnival on Tasmajdan park on April 23 and 24

The Easter Carnival, which is held every year in Tasmajdan Park, will be held on April 23 and 24, from 11 am to 6 pm, organized by the City Municipality of Palilula and the Association of Culture Shock.

The big Easter carnival will be marked by numerous entertainment programs that will take place on the central festival stage where music and dance performances, children’s performances and various performances will take place, but also on the entire festival space where percussionists, majorettes, street entertainers and and mascots of children’s favorite heroes.

The youngest visitors can expect eight different all-day creative workshops on acting, poetry, painting, sports, singing and many other interactive content that encourages children’s development, but also a great fun city and horse zone where they can learn all about these noble animals and equestrian sports.

The event aims to promote family values ​​and encourage the development of social responsibility among the youngest, but above all, the emphasis is on developing a sense of solidarity and the importance of charity.

Therefore, in cooperation with all 17 primary schools from the municipality of Palilula, a large socially responsible action was launched this year, which includes children of all lower grades, so this year the kids will compete in the competition discipline “Choice for the most beautiful painted egg” and “Choice for the most beautifully decorated Easter basket”. With this action, elementary school students, now traditionally, help some of the socially endangered students from the school desk who need help.

The most creative works of the founders will be exhibited at the carnival itself, where visitors will have the opportunity to become owners of a small work of art by making a donation, which they consider adequate, and thus help the whole action. The collected money will go to humanitarian purposes, to the fund to which the winner will allocate funds.

In the spirit of the holidays, this year’s carnival will also feature an egg-beating competition for all those interested on the spot, as well as a nice baby crawling competition in which the fastest and most resourceful will win valuable prizes.
